This work is for Hispanosfera's contest about: Latin culture.

The dance and the warmth of our latin people is what i try to
bring up here. Its an invitation to be united in the face of catastrophies like this year earthquake in Peru, or floodings , fires and armed conflict, all through out latinamerica.
The overall sight for years to come does not look more promising and our unity must not be forgotten in the hour of need.

That's great... really like the colors, the composition... all of it!

If I may ask, what's with the blue skulls? I'm fairly unfamiliar with latin myths. :P
beautiful... and made better by the explaination... love the blue skull spirits and
the joy of the people expressed through their bodies.

this should be a mural somewhere...

the blue skulls are a representation of adversity, trouble, death or chaos in our everyday lives.

Even in festivity we are put in the face of death, but we dance carelessly with our brothers and sisters, because we feel, we can and we must dance as one.

Wow! Never would I have guessed that they had such a deep metaphorical significance. It adds a lot more to the piece, showing, as you said, the people "dancing in the face of death." Thanks for the insight. :)
